Today, we are discussing a 6-layer hybrid PCB constructed with RO4350B and FR-4. Let’s begin with the first design.
This PCB is designed for radar antenna applications. It features two cores of RO4350B on the top and bottom sides, with plated through holes connecting each layer. The stack-up reveals that each dielectric material exceeds 0.2mm in thickness, resulting in an overall PCB thickness of 1.9mm. The pads and holes are finished with immersion gold. These boards are manufactured according to IPC 6012 Class 2 standards using the supplied Gerber data. Each shipment contains 25 panels.
Now, let’s look at the second design.
This model is more complex than the first. It maintains the 10mil RO4350B core but incorporates three types of blind vias. The specifications are as follows

There is a similar product with inner layers using half-ounce copper, resulting in a finished PCB thickness of 1.0mm. Below are the stack-up and micro-section images.
